Here is my review on the second story in the Twilight Saga…….. NEW MOON.

Rated PG-13 and 2 hours and 10 minutes long. You can tell that the cast did some serious workout’s for this film.

Lot’s of Eye candy for Women of All Ages!!

Anyone can watch this so Guys It’s ok to come see this one alone!!

This was a great film. Nothing really negative to say about it except this…… This is a series. You cannot come and watch this film without prior knowledge of the first film or have read the book. With that said….Grade A Film! Better than the first. However due to the above statement this one gets a B+.

When Michael Jackson mentioned that he was going to have his “This is It” concert tour I was Thrilled! I was actually going to get to see him finally perform on stage after missing out in my childhood. A few months later I was on CNN ( http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/showbiz/2009/06/26/dcl.irpt.rajim.gross.cnn ) talking about the death of the Michael Jackson in shock with the rest of the world and my dreams shattered.

Well Today I was lucky enough to get into an Advanced Screening of Michael Jackson’s “This Is It”. It was an awesome experience. It wasn’t really like going to the movies, it was more of going to a V.I.P. behind the scenes Michael Jackson concert!! People were Singing, Clapping and Grooving in their seats to the music of the King Of Pop. There really is nothing to compare this to!! You either Love Michael Jackson or you don’t, That will determine your experience watching this film.

Fans of all ages showed up. Press, Celebrities and Fans all Stood in the SAME LINES!! People lined up 2 1/2 hours before showtime in Springdale, Ohio to ensure they not only got in but got “GOOD SEATS” to watch MJ on the big screen! The whole experience was Larger than life. People wore T-shirts, Jackets and all types of MJ Gear.

Michael Jackson is and always will be the King Of Pop and one of the Largest Icons in Pop history!! If you are a Michael Jackson Fan, Go See It.

Jamie Foxx & Gerard Butler tear up the screen in this new Action Drama Law Abiding Citizen. Foxx Play a Lawyer who is out to get justice any way possible. He runs into Butler whose family is masacred before his eyes. Foxx makes a deal that just shatters the image of Justice in the eyes of Butler’s character.

This is a Action, Dramatic Thril Ride with Blood, Lots of Explosions and humanity at it’s core.

This is definatly one of the best films I have seen this year.

Paranormal Activity is without a doubt on of the scariest movies of ALL TIME!!! This movie will make you jump, duck, cringe, grab onto and jump into the arms of the person next to you!!

The Story is about a couple who are dealing with Paranormal Activity in their home. The Boyfriend buys a HD camera and some sound equipment to document what happens the weird unexplained Paranormal Activity takes place in their home.

There is no blood, no gore, just the Best Suspense / Horror film you will see this year! I thought the film was real! The way this is shot it give you the impression that it was based on a true story. You decide for yourself if it is real or not!

Zombieland is a instant hit in my book!! This film was Hiliarious! It is rated “R” and 1 hour and 21 minutes long.

Of course it’s got lots of blood, body dismemberment and rolling heads, but it was funny as heck!!

Film stars Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin, and Bill Murray. I don’t think they could have put together a better cast of characters for this comedy / horror film Zombieland.

The film is about a band of people trying to stay alive after a virus circles the globe and turns people into Zombies!! This film is an actual guidebook on how and what to do should you encounter ZOMBIES!!!

Great Adult entertainment if your looking for something to do this weekend or in the near future. This one is Going on The Shelf once it come out!! My Wife went and even enjoyed it….and She doesn’t usally like these types of films!!

Fame…….Well It has lived at Least 20+ years andis going on forever!! This Version is a Re-make of the 80’s film Fame of course modernized for today’s lingo and timeframe!

Movie had a Great Cast…Some actors I’d never seen before and then some veterans actors whose work I know very well to include Charles S. Dutton, Kelsey Grammer, Megan Mullally, were in the film along with Debbie Allen who was from the original cast was in this film along with “So You Think You Can Dance” Alumni Kherington Payne.

The film tries to cover the 4 years of High School these young adults are in. It is very compressed of course due to time constraignts and gives you a glimpse into the lives of the main stars of the film. You see the good, the bad, and the ugly. The Singing and Dancing were VERY entertaining. I am not much of a Musical Fan but did enjoy this film.

The Film is rated PG but in my opinion is suitable for audiences of all ages. Sexual situations in the film were nothing more than a few kisses and close dancing. I saw nothing to be afraid to take my child to.

This Film seems to be targeted towards the younger generation of movie goers. Not High School Musical but not really a film that is inspirational for Adult to run out and take their friends to 2 or 3 times.

I Think The way this film played out was “Good” not great. The acting was Great, I just feel there were moments that were unaddressed in the film that made me say well….what happened. I will add this to my collection of movies once it is available for purchase.

Watching This Film In The First Five Minutes I Thought Sorority Row Man this is a Straight Rip of I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER. I felt I needed to rate this film on it’s own merit but I gotta tell you it was really hard to do at first. Honestly it was good. It was a fresh faced slasher film. Lots of new actors, Lots of Nudity, No Sex, but a lot of People getting Killed Quickly!!

Good Film for the Upcoming Halloween holiday and WAY BETTER than that Flop of a Film Halloween 2. At least while watching this 90 minute film I had some Oooh’s and Awww’s and Even Jumped once or twice…..I could see it again Unlike Halloween 2.

9 Was a Very interesting movie taking place in a post end of the world time frame. We are introduced to an innocent character named “9″ who is one of 9 creations by a scientist who breaks up his soul in the hopes to rebuild the future.

This film was visually stunning and I enjoyed it. I think it was a film more for the younger crowds (Pre-teens & Teens) but is still something that everyone can enjoy.

The film was 79 minutes long and has some “Scary” and violent scenes in it which is why it holds a PG-13 rating.

Good family film for your DVD / Blu-Ray collection.

Extract is the latest movie by King Of The Hill Creator…Mike Judge!! This Film was Funny!! I can See This becoming a cult classic the same way that Office Space has! THe Movie is about a guy named Joel whose life after one tiny little event get’s SCREWED UP in more than one sense!!

This film is a Comedy filled bundle of Laughs!! Sex…NOT, Drugs…Yes….Rock-N-Roll….YESSS!! Gene Simons from Kiss play a TV Laywer Joe Adler who is out for CA$H!!

This film has Jason Bateman, Ben Afleck, Clifton Collins Jr, Mila Kunis, and Gene “Stick My Tongue Out” Simmons!!

If your looking for a laugh and a way to release some bordom….Go Check out Extract!!! Starts 9/4/09

GI JOE….AWESOME PIECE OF FILM! This film has Knocked The Transformers down a notch in my book!!

This Film Had an All Star Cast featuring Dennis Quaid, Christopher Eccleston (Heroes, Dr Who), Channing Tatum (Stop Loss), Marlon Wayans, Rachel Nichols (The Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants 2, P2), Sienna Miller (Comic Relief 2009), Ray Park(Fanboys, Star Wars Episode I) AND MANY MORE!!!

This Film was Off The Hook! Had Awesome Special Effects! The Fight Scenes were great and you could see where they took the time to ensure that all of the military aspects were as real as possible. Most of the characters that were in the 80’s Cartoon series were there, (I Missed Shipwreck) He wasn’t there. But Wow The Characters were GREAT!! They even brought in Zartan..the master of disguise! (Played by Arnold Vosloo) This is a Film that people of All Ages can Enjoy!

The Back stories they layout in the film give greater depth to the characters. Scars both mentally and physically get explained, as well as the reason behind why Snake Eyes does not speak.

This is One of The DVD Shelf For Sure!! I can Easily see this turning into a series of films! (At Least a Trilogy) Do Yourself a Favor And Go See This!!

So Funny People has alot of Funny People in it and some funny parts to it but….. To use the words of Randy Jackson from American Idol..”It was just Alright For Me”

The movie stars Adam Sandler as Comic George Simmons, who finds out he has a rare blood diease and is dying. (Nothing Funny There) He wind’s up hiring a aspiring comic named Ira (played by Seth Rogan) to write jokes for him and become his assistant, in return George will teach him the trade. That’s all good. When Sandler, Rogan & Jonah Hill are on screen you laugh your butt off. That’s the good news…..This is a “DRAMADY” …a funny Drama.

There is too much that is taking place. George tries to mend his past burnt bridges, re-kindle a past lost love with a married woman, and teach Ira the craft of comedy.

The film is 2 1/2 hours long….. it stopped being a comedy after the first hour and twenty minutes.This should have been a 2 part movie.

There were many Cameo’s in this film…Ray Ramano and Emimen were among them! They were funny! The Supporting cast included: Jonah Hill (SuperBad), Leslie Mann (Knocked Up) & Eric Bana (Star Trek).

Don’t get me wrong….The Film had it’s funny moments and after the two hit movies Superbad & Knocked Up by Judd Apatow, I had hoped for something much better than Year One being titled Funny People.

I Am a Adam Sandler Fan, but this Movie Gets a B- from me.

THE UGLY TRUTH is a very funny romantic comedy film filled with LOTS of witty one liners, Lots of Sex Talk and Sexy People on Screen To Look At! In other words, there is lots of sexual content in this film. There are no sex scenes, just the innuendo’s and were there lot’s of those!!

This film stars Gerard Butler (RocknRolla, 300) as a Tv Show Host who winds up getting hired at a local network station with Katherine Heigl (27 Dresses, Knocked Up) playing his producer. The show they work on is “The Ugly Truth” Katherine’s character learns the ugly truth that she needs Gerard’s character to help her get her man. She’s a woman looking for the perfect man who enlists the help of the not so perfect man to help her get her man!! The question is will she find the perfect man with his help….or has she already found him right under her nose?

I laughed from Start to finish and actually think that this film was the best thing since The Hangover…and I’ve Seen That Twice! (Of Course That’s just my Opinion).

This film is Rated R. 90 minutes of Laughter. Starts 7/24/09 in theaters everywhere.
